Toronto CN Tower
What a stunning view of the Toronto CN Tower. Located downtown Toronto standing tall over the Sky Dome (Roger Center) the CN tower is 1,815.4 feet high. Until 2007, for 31 years the CN Tower hold the record as the tallest structure in the world. That was until the Burj Dubai building was built. The Burj Dubai is to open on December 2, 2009.
The photo on the left taken by an unknown and outstanding photographer, is from the Toronto Harbour. This view of the CN Tower was taken standing behind the Second Cup Coffee Shop right on the harbourfront, on the corner of Queens Quay and York. If you travel to Toronto that's the location where you want to be at night to see this fabulous view.
You can actually see the roof of the second cup coffee shop. Stand in that location and you will see this with your own eyes!Toronto Harbourfront Centre
With thousands of events every year from visual arts to music and live theatre on the World Stage, to shop and dine at the Queens Quay Terminal where you can even find art stores and a few good waterfront restaurants, you will never find it boring. You can even take a stroll on the boardwalk, or enjoy one of the many daytime boat cruises that will take you for a tour of the Toronto Harbour and Islands.
As you can see the photo of the CN Tower in Toronto is not the only breath-taking scenery that can be seen from a distance on one of the many Toronto harbour cruises. From sailboat charters on the Toronto Harbour to yachts and showboats Toronto Harbour Cruises in the darkness of the Toronto harbour or Lake Ontario is good place to enjoy the amazing and breath taking skylight that Toronto has to offer. Toronto Attractions
What happen here? That’s a Toronto attraction, or is it? It looks like an accident from outer space! Well the engineers got ahead of themselves a few decades, I’d say. What a shame to combine this heritage building with something out of the future. If that’s how buildings will look in the future, we won’t need to… to hallucinate. Located on the southwest corner of Bloor and Avenue road in 1857 the building was home to the Museum of Natural History and Fine Arts. In 1912, the museum was given its new name “Royal Ontario Museum” and opened its doors in March of 1914. Three expansions later…
Owned by the city of Toronto, the construction of the new Toronto Zoo located in Scarborough began in 1970 and opened its doors to the public on August 15, 1974.
